Description of the lodgings: The pension Alena is situated in the centre of Krkonoše in the community Pec pod Sněžkou. The cottage is located in the valley of river Úpa at a height of 850 m above sea level.
The pension offers the accommodation in 5 rooms: 3x double bedroom, 1x trhee bedroom, 1x four bedroom (together 13 beds).
There is water in double bed rooms and three-bed room; the four-bed room is without water. The shared social facilities, (2x shower bath and 2x WC) are on storey. Guests can use a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge or can visit some of nearest restaurants.
Not far is situated the grocery store (f. e. Sněžka is on the place).
If it is cold weather, you can lounge in the common room, in summer outside on the terrace.
There is a ski-room and grill too.
The short time staying: Our pension provides the short time staying, for instance a weekend stay. You pay the charge 2€ to the price (stay shorter than 3 nights, in winter season free of charge).
We do not offer the accommodation only for one night (organization reasons). The minimum stay is 2 nights (at a weekend from Friday to Sunday).
In the garden there is a sitting with possibility of grill.  

Parking: Parking is right at the pension – free.

Winter activities: The region is suitable for downhill skiing. There are eleven ski lifts and modified ski slopes at point. There are more ski resorts in near surroundings, for instance Mladé Buky, Portášky, Černá Hora and Černý Důl. The resort offers ideal conditions for cross-country skiing. Visitors can utilize the ski equipment renting shops and courses of skiing situated in the centre of Pec pod Sněžkou.

Summers activities: The region is suitable for hiking and mountain biking. There are many marked tourist lines. The mountain Sněžka is 8 km away and Černá hora is 3 km away. Other sporting self-realization, (tennis, volley-ball, football, bathing and others). The aerodrome in Vrchlabí - sightseeing flights over Krkonoše, The identification trips to Adržbašské and Teplické Rockies, the Pracovské Rockies, ZOO with SAFARI in Dvůr Králové, the Kuks castle, the castle Trosky, the bath Sedmihory, the castle Náchod, the forest Dobrošov, the castle Opočno, the castle in Vrchlabí, Špindlerův Mlýn, the castle Nové Město nad Metují, the fortress Josefov (19th century) in Jaroměř.
