An accommodation is situated in the south uphill in the altitude 900 m with the view to the Boubín. It is the original seat of Jáchym Kůsa, after him was named the settlement as Jáchymov. In the object lived and died in the year 188 ogre and stron man of Šumava Rankl – Sepp, with the name Josef Klostermann, one of the person in the romance V ráji šumavském. In the historic object was established the small museum of Šumava in the country house-place. In the area are farm horses and they arrange trips on the area.

Summer:
walking (marked tourist paths) from 5 - 35 km, trips by car through the south Bohemia, Austria and Germany borderland, the National Park of Šumava and Bavorsko.
Winter:
Cross-country skiing and walking in the nice background of Šumava. Skiing, trips by bus to the ski-slope in the Alps (for l day), skating.
Bus connection: the line Praha – Zadov, Vimperk – Zadov, the bus stop Michalov, 700 m.
Train connection: the trace Strakonice – Vimperk, the railway stop Vimperk, then by bus to direction Zadov, the bus stop Michalov, 700 m.
