Description of the lodgings: The pension Pod zámkem is situated in a manor area near by the centre of the town. The town Boskovice is cca 45 km from Brno in direction to Svitavy.
The rooms are equipped with TV/SAT, a phone and internet. For guests is available the dining room, where are served breakfasts. Pension offers the using of the conference room for seminars and schoolings. Culture self-realization: Boskovice is agricultural and culture centre in the area Malá Haná, Drahanská vrchovina (highlands) and foothills of Českomoravská vrchovina (highlands). There are some historic places in the town, f.e. The Empire Castle from the years1819-1826, the ruin of the gothic castle, the mansion of the stock Boskoviců, a castle ´s glasshouse, the new gothic riding-hall and the residence, in which is today a town ´s museum.
The Jewish village was the significant economic part of Boskovice from the 14th century, in the years 1851-1884 was there a centre of the provincial rabbi. To the best Jewish sight-seeing belongs the previous Jewish ghetto with the Jewish cemetery.
You can visit castles in Rájec-Jestřebí or Lysice, the Moravský kras (it is the biggest complex of the chalky caves and the abyss in the Middle Europe.
Sports activities: There is in Boskovice: a sport area with a swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness centre, you can play squash or dminton, or golf in Kořenec.
The area of Boskovice has many tourist footpaths and lines for cycling. In winter you can practice cross-country skiing.
